Coalition Partners

Each organization in the coalition may bring any member or staff representative to a meeting. Participation of any outside groups, invited guests, or prospective partners must be agreed to by all of the current partners. Below are the contacts from each current coalition partner.

Minnesota School Employees Association 

Minnesota School Employees Association is a union of nearly 7,000 classified school employees from over 70 districts in Minnesota. MSEA members are secretaries, paraprofessionals, technicians, custodians, interpreters, bus drivers, and more. ​

Public School Employees of Washington, SEIU Local 1948

Public School Employees of Washington, SEIU Local 1948 (PSE SEIU 1948) is a labor union dedicated exclusively to representing Education Support Professionals in Washington state’s public education system. Its 30,000 members play a vital role in the operation of early learning, K-12, and universities throughout the state. No other labor organization in Washington represents Education Support Professionals with the power and might of PSE.

SEIU Local 284

SEIU Local 284 represents 10,000 support staff in K-12 schools across Minnesota, as well as adjunct faculty members at colleges and universities in the Twin Cities area. The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is an organization of 2 million members united by the belief in the dignity and worth of workers and the services they provide, and improving the lives of workers and their families.

Utah School Employees Association

USEA is the largest public employee association representing classified employees in the state of Utah. It is the only association that has effectively assisted classified employees in this state to realize significant gains in bargaining efforts with their employers. In 2004, USEA became an affiliate of the National Education Association, providing access to training, member benefits, staffing, financial resources, and a national political voice.
